Study programme description
The study programme aims to implement in-depth vocational studies based on the theoretical basis of the maritime transport sector, relevant to its needs and applied in practice, while ensuring the acquisition of knowledge, skills and competences identified for the European/Latvian Qualifications Framework’s (EQF/LQF) level 7.

Graduates of the study programme acquire in-depth knowledge , skills and competences for comprehensive and effective action in the selected field of management or operation in the maritime transport sector as managers of companies/organisations/institutions and their departments, key and leading technical specialists, educators, researchers, etc., as well as for further studies aimed at higher level qualifications.
Admission Requirements
• Professional Bachelor degree or professional higher education and 5th level or adequate professional qualifications obtained upon completion of maritime programmes which provide access to master studies. Graduates of other related programmes of study may be enrolled on fulfilling additional entry requirements.
• Proficiency in the English language.
